Rezumat
Prima zi a manifestarii a inceput cu prezentări pe teme de gastroenterologie, incluzând utilizarea nanodispozitivelor în diagnosticul afecțiunilor GI, inteligența artificială în endoscopia GI și dezbateri pe teme de actualitate în GERD. Sesiunile de dimineață s-au încheiat cu discuții despre terapiile biologice avansate în bolile inflamatorii intestinale (BII).
După-amiaza a fost dedicată inovațiilor endoscopice, cu prezentări despre tehnicile avansate de endo-imaginistica și managementul cancerelor precoce al tractului gastrointestinal(GI) superior. S-au discutat și teme legate de polipii colonici mari și colaborarea endoscopică-laparoscopică pentru abordarea minim-invaziva a acestora. Sesiunea de "Quo Vadis Endoscopy" a explorat viitorul endoscopiei, incluzand discutii despre rolul EUS în endohepatologie și inovații în hemostaza endoscopică pentru sângerările GI.
Ziua a doua a avut un program stiintific focusat pe hepatologie, incepand cu prezentari despre afectiuni benigne - managementul up-to-date al hepatitelor și bolilor avansate de ficat. A fost abordata tema managementului hepatitelor cronice virale, MAFLD în contextul pandemiei de obezitate și au fost readuse in discutie optiunile terapeutice în bolile autoimune ale ficatului.
In continuare, urmatoarea sesiune a avut drept tema noutatile in domeniul patologiei hepato-biliare maligne, cu discuții despre algoritmi de diagnostic imagistic în tumori hepatice și opțiuni de tratament precum terapii termice (crioterapie, ablatie cu radiofrecventa, ablatie cu microunde) și chimioterapia avansată.
Dupa-amiaza a fost dedicata sesiunilor practice, ce au avut loc la Centrul de Simulare al UMF Carol Davila, cu ateliere de endoscopie și ecografie. Participanții au avut ocazia să se antreneze pe simulatoare (endoscopie si ecografie), modele 3D și modele porcine (endoscopie si ecografie interventionala), exersand proceduri precum hemostaza, polipectomia, EMR/ESD, ERCP și EUS, precum și biopsia ghidată prin ecografie, ablația prin radiofrecvență a leziunilor hepatice și imagistica prin fuziune combinate US/CT.
La finalul celei de-a doua zile, Profesorul Adrian Săftoiu a condus sesiunea de închidere, oferind un rezumat și concluzii esențiale ale workshop-ului.

Summary
The first day of the event began with presentations on gastroenterology topics, including the use of nanodevices in the diagnosis of GI conditions, artificial intelligence in GI endoscopy, and debates on current topics in GERD. The morning sessions concluded with discussions on advanced biologic therapies in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
The afternoon was dedicated to endoscopic innovations, with presentations on advanced endo-imaging techniques and the management of early cancers of the upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Topics related to large colonic polyps and endoscopic-laparoscopic collaboration for their minimally invasive approach were also discussed. The "Quo Vadis Endoscopy" session explored the future of endoscopy, including discussions of the role of EUS in endohepatology and innovations in endoscopic hemostasis for GI bleeding.
The second day had a scientific program focused on hepatology, starting with presentations on benign conditions - the up-to-date management of hepatitis and advanced liver diseases. The topic of managing chronic viral hepatitis, MAFLD in the context of the obesity pandemic was addressed and therapeutic options in autoimmune liver diseases were brought back into discussion.
The next session had as its theme the novelties in the field of malignant hepatobiliary pathology, with discussions about imaging diagnostic algorithms in liver tumors and treatment options such as thermal therapies (cryotherapy, radiofrequency ablation, microwave ablation) and advanced chemotherapy.
The afternoon was dedicated to the practical sessions, which took place at the UMF Carol Davila Simulation Center, with endoscopy and ultrasound workshops. Participants had the opportunity to train on simulators (endoscopy and ultrasound), 3D models and porcine models (endoscopy and interventional ultrasound), practicing procedures such as hemostasis, polypectomy, EMR/ESD, ERCP and EUS, as well as ultrasound-guided biopsy, ablation by radiofrequency of liver lesions and combined US/CT fusion imaging.
At the end of the second day, Professor Adrian Săftoiu led the closing session, providing a summary and essential conclusions of the workshop.
