Stimati invitati, speakeri si participanti,
Dragi colegi,
Datorita recentelor evolutii la nivel european si national ale epidemiei COVID-19, cunoscut sub numele de coronavirus, Comitetul de Organizare al Cursului Anual de Hepatologie Update on Hepatologie programat a avea loc in perioada 3-4 aprilie in Bucuresti, hotel Crowne Plaza, a decis amanarea acestui eveniment la o data pe care o vom anunta in cel mai scurt timp (in toamna acestui an sau anul viitor in aceeasi perioada). Programul manifestarii va ramane, in linii mari, acelasi.
Mai presus de eforturile depuse pentru un program stiintific atractiv si organizare, prima noastra grija este siguranta participantilor, iar responsabilitatea de a mentine un asemenea eveniment pe fondul evolutiei epidemiei de coronavirus este uriasa.

EN - The UpDate on Hepatology Organizing Team
Dear coleagues, invited speakers and participants,
Due to the recent evolution of the growing COVID-19 epidemic at the European level, the UpDate on Hepatology Team has decided to postpone the 7th Update on Hepatology Course, scheduled to be held on 3-4 of April 2020 in Bucharest, for either the Autumn of 2020 (October-November) or the same period (March-April) of 2021.
This is in part due to the fact that many national and international speakers will not be able to attend the meeting due to travel restrictions (either in speakers’ home countries or in Romania) as well as an all-hands-on-deck approach in the medical sectors of some countries or institutions, limiting speakers from leaving their practices.
The exact dates will be decided in relation to the rescheduling of other major international events as well as in relation to the evolution of the epidemic. The program and invited speakers will be more or less the same.
