We are thrilled to invite you to the 12th edition of the Update on Hepatology Course which will traditionally take place at Crowne Plaza Bucharest from March 20 to 22nd 2025, featuring an ideal professional environment for exchanging knowledge and experience.
Since 2014, Update on Hepatology has earned its reputation as the premier scientific event in hepatology in Romania. Bringing together renowned experts, clinicians, researchers, and enthusiastic young gastroenterologists, it is the perfect opportunity to share your passion for liver disease, explore cutting-edge topics, and contribute to advances in the study of liver diseases.
Addressing the topic “Transforming hepatology: From Science to Patient-Centered Care”, the course will be focused on the translational dimension of hepatology, bringing the latest advancements into clinical practice. Participants can expect a diverse program including plenary sessions on cutting-edge topics, multidisciplinary dialogues, and interactive challenging case presentations designed to enhance your knowledge, practical skills and grow your career in hepatology. Traditionally as well, several high-profile industry-supported satellite symposia will also take place.
The program was designed to cover and to promote your active participation and stimulate dynamic discussions. Beyond the stage, the course will provide inspiring opportunities, professional networking, inter-disciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes and enhance the quality of life of patients suffering from liver diseases.

Submit via email using the official form
Identify the presenting author (name, date of birth, email)
Max 250 words (excluding title) in Arial 10
No case presentations accepted
Select your preferred presentation format: Oral/Poster or Poster Only
Choose your research type: Clinical or Basic
Topics must be related to hepatology only
No edits allowed after submission
Late submissions will not be considered
