11th Update on Hepatology Course 2024

Since 2014, Update on Hepatology has earned its reputation as the premier scientific national event in hepatology. Bringing together leading experts, clinicians, researchers, and enthusiastic young gastroenterologists, it is the perfect opportunity to share your passion for liver disease, access cutting-edge content from top experts in the field, explore and contribute to advances in the study and management of liver diseases.
Addressing the topic Advancing hepatology: navigating guidelines, embracing innovation and shaping future strategies, this year’s program will explore relevant topics for practicing hepatologists, with direct relevance to patient care: steatotic liver disease, viral hepatitis, cholestatic liver diseases, endo-hepatology, liver transplantation, liver cancer and much more.
Beyond the stage, the course will offer networking opportunities, professional connections, and collaboration across disciplines to enhance patient care and to improve outcomes and the quality of life in patients suffering from liver diseases.

Update on Hepatology 2024 is re-branding once again!
We invite you to bring your contributions by presenting the most challenging cases of diagnosis and/or management from your own practice!
After a review process, 9 of the most interesting cases will be presented as part of 3 parallel sessions with 30 minutes allocated per case.
You’ll have an opportunity for 30 minutes of case-based interactive discussions with a panel of national and international experts.

Abstracts Abstract submissions Open for abstract submission: Deadline for abstract submission: 11 February 2024 Take advantage of the opportunity to present your latest research in liver disease in the 11th Update on Hepatology Course 2024 and to get published in Surgery, Gastroenterology and Oncology Journal! Abstract submission guidelines · Abstracts must be submitted electronically using the official submission form to the following email address roaldliver@gmail.com and maria.iacob@umfcd.ro · Abstracts must identify the presenting author, date of birth of the presenting author along with email address · Please use standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parenthesis after the full word when it appears for the first time · Errors, misspellings and incorrect abbreviations will not be corrected · Abstracts will have 250 words (without counting the title) written with Arial 10 · An individual may submit more than one abstract · Edits to submitted abstracts cannot be made after submission and abstracts longer >250 words will not be considered for evaluation · CASE PRESENTATIONS are not accepted · Authors will be requested to specify their preferred method of presentation: Oral/ Poster Presentation or Poster only Presentation.
