2nd UpDate on Hepatology Course Bucharest Romania 2015
It is a privilege to welcome you in Bucharest to the Second UpDate on Hepatology Course Bucharest 2015 organized by the Romanian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (SRGH), Fundeni Clinical Institute and the „Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy on 27th-28th May. When we planned the course just before the EASL Monothematic Conference „Liver Disease in Resource Limited Settings” (29th-30th May), we were mostly thinking to faciltate the participation of Romanian attendees to both events, so a „Regal of Hepatology” will take place in our capital at this end of May!
This year the course is devoted to recent advances and new statements in Portal Hypertension after Baveno VI Consensus Conference and to current approaches and revolutionary perspectives of Curing Viral Hepatitis B and C in 2015.
As in 2014, we remain confident to the scientific format organized in sessions on very actual topics, integrating translational data with clinical aspects. Assuming the popularity achieved last year, we included in the program three parallel interactive and practical case-based workshops on portal hypertension (Day 1) and viral hepatitis (Day 2). Over the 2-day course, you will have the unique opportunity to attend a series of outstanding presentations given by renowned national and international experts, to interact and discuss informaly with them during the sessions and the breaks between sessions.
Our educational aims remain to deliver updated knowledge, to share opinions and clinical experience, to build collaborative research projects and to stimulate the implementation of an evidence-based approach in liver diseases, in order to ultimately improve the care and outcome of many people who suffer from liver diseases.
I hope you will enjoy the UpDate on Hepatology Bucharest Course 2015, learn a lot, interact with experts and colleagues, and build further collaboration. Come and join us in Bucharest on 27th-28th of May, bring your experience and enthusiasm and help make the Second UpDate on Hepatology Bucharest Course an exciting and professionally rewarding experience.
Finally, Bucharest, a vibrant and cosmopolitan capital has much to offer you, bathed in the spring light of May.
Looking forward to welcoming you in Bucharest at the end of the May,
Prof. Dr. Liana Gheorghe
